Cloud Migration Security Improvement
Building an online resident application platform on Government Cloud
We digitized 42 frequently used procedures that previously required paper forms and counter visits, reducing annual in-person visits by approximately 60,000.
| Client | City D, a regional urban center |
| Scale | Approximately 340,000 residents |
| Industry | Government & Municipalities |
| Project period | April 2024-September 2025 (18 months) |
| Business Challenge | Cloud Migration / Security Improvement |
Challenges
- Each application procedure used a different form, and priorities for digitization were unclear.
- Handling personal information required compliance with municipal network-separation requirements.
- Implementation could not increase the operational workload of municipal staff.
Our Approach
- We classified all 398 procedures by application volume and processing effort, selecting 42 high-value procedures for the first phase.
- We designed communication paths that met three-tier network-separation requirements and agreed data-transfer methods with the relevant departments.
- Applications were imported into existing business systems, avoiding the need for staff to learn new interfaces.
- To accommodate older users, we reduced the average form to 11 input fields.
